Sony Walkman Zappin Review
Sony Walkman Zappin was the latest innovation of Sony and has invaded the market because of its simplicity that perfectly fits an active lifestyle. It is ideal for those who are in the gym and prefer to have no dangling cords around while doing the workouts. In the before models Sony Walkman A820 and S710 series had Bluetooth feature but there is a hassle on charging both player and the headphones. In some cases, there are undefined interferences that make listening irritable. Having the new Sony Walkman Zappin makes it perfect to most previous Sony users.
The impressive lightweight feature makes it easy for the user enjoying its music, it weighs only 35 grams or equivalent to 1.3 ounces makes it light on ears even after prolonged usage. It never slipped off when the head gets sweaty and no readjustment is needed because it simply stayed on and kept playing the music as intended.
The controls are located in the areas that can be easily accessed like skipping to the next track or turning up the volume with the aid of the jog dial. These jog dials have been there in all of the Sony models and are usually implanted within its VAIOs to function in cell phones. A shuffle switch is present when you desire to use the function.
What is the Zapping feature then? This is the only feature that is exclusively available in this model. The zapping function enables you to take a quick preview of the track for you to recognize it right away, rather than listening it all the way from the beginning of the track. The player is capable of playing back the song in the interval of 4 seconds each, you can alternatively switch to “Zapping Long” feature which can playback in 15 seconds the song clip. If there are cases that the passage of the song cannot be located, playback of the song is 45 seconds from the beginning. Just hold down the jog dial and the zapping feature is activated. Indeed, the sound effects are amazingly awesome!
The body quality is also great. There is a magnet that can hold the two sides together if they are idle and not in use and an OPR lamp indicator that serves as an alert when the players needs recharging while a white LED strip functions as a status lamp. The neckband is responsible for holding the right and left sides together. And as expected, the name Sony implies good sound quality.
An additional accessory of the charging stand can ease the charging process. If in case, it was misplaced, another option is to use any USB cable in charging and transferring songs. Charging time is only 3 minutes and it will be equivalent to 90 minutes of playback time. Transfer of music can be done using Content Transfer or Windows Media Player 11. The software of these applications is also included in the bundle.
Furthermore, the design is available in colors of blank and pink. Two rectangular modules with the dimension of 2 inches long, 0.8 inch wide and 0.4 inch in deep, firmly attached to a flexible and twisting neckband. Undoubtedly, this is the smallest MP3 player and headphone in one that had been invented.
I’m so glad I found this site…Keep up the good work
